Being Human in a Digital World

Growth Class Revisited
Being Human in a Digital World: Reclaiming the call of Incarnation

Ironically, this class was being offering right when the pandemic hit in March 2020, when EVERYTHING went digital, and the course needed to be suspended until further notice. Here we are two years later! We are going to revisit some themes from this class like focal concerns/practices, raising kids in a digital world, iMinds (how our brains are changing), social media, and possible next steps for us as people of faith. The church has always lived a little different than the culture surrounding it. How does the digital world and its focal concerns/practices fit in line with what we do as people of faith? How does it not? What needs to change in our practices to live faithfully and fruitfully in 2022 and beyond? How might we reclaim the deeply important call to make faith manifest in our physical reality, lives, and relationships… especially in a post-pandemic world?
